I've been a big fan of Grey's Anatomy ever since the show started, and when Jessica first appeared I was immediatly intriqued by her character. I began to really love her take on Arizona and she became my favorite character on the show. I felt like I recognized her from somewhere and went on a bit of an internet search to find out more about her. I realized I had seen her in The L Word and Bones. I was sad to see that there wasn't a proper source online for fans to find out about her, so I decided to create Amarantine.
Why Amarantine?
Amarantine (am·a·ran·thine) adjective 1. unfading; everlasting: a woman of amaranthine loveliness.
A few years ago I got a CD by Enya called Amarantine. I've always been interested in the english language and learning new words, and when I got this CD I thought that word was so pretty. When it came to looking for a name for this website, this song came up from her CD on my iTunes. I looked up the meaning of the word, and it fit perfectly.
Jessica's talent is unfading and everlasting - amarantine.
